Straight Trucks
We operate 26ft straight trucks/ box trucks because they provide ample capacity while being small enough to deliver to most location in the tight spaces of New England cities. Typically 12 standard pallets fit on our trucks which are equipped with liftgates for ground deliveries.
Hazmat Certification
All our drivers are certified and trained for the handling and transportation of hazmat materials. We routinely transport and deliver corrosive freight such as lead-acid batteries for commercial battery backup systems.
Crane Bed Transportation
For freight that can’t easily fit on a truck, our crane has a rear flatbed platform with secure fastening rails. This is especially helpful for pickups or deliveries that will need crane assistance, potentially saving the need for an extra truck.
Active Dispatching
Communication is essential for success in logistics so we make sure it is easy to contact your driver. Our primary dispatcher will answer our main phone line and can update you on delivery status or connect you to the driver within minutes.
Our fleet of box trucks allow us to pick up and deliver to congested city locations without docks or loading areas.
Service Area
We transport throughout New England, most frequently in Boston and the South Shore, Providence and Eastern Rhode Island, Cape Cod, and the Islands. With support from our other entity in Wilmington, McCall Trucking, we can also serve North and West Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire. We also serve Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard and the other Islands. We can also serve Connecticut, New York and beyond upon request.
Last Mile Logistics
Southeast Transport is a last mile solutions provider as well as carrier. With large and sensitive equipment, deliveries or pickups can be ruined by an extra stair, a narrow hallway, an alley that can’t be blocked during certain hours, or countless other obstacles. We only hire drivers experienced in driving in Boston and carry on every truck a variety of extra tools to handle small problems. We do our research and arrive prepared to prevent reschedules.
